Lesson 18 --- AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED ITS A WIN WIN SITUATION FOR US
Lesson 18: AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED ITS A WIN WIN SITUATION FOR US
  Conversation Practice
Guy: Jill, what's your take on this request for us to work Saturdays for a month?
Jill: Well, its because of that proposal the company wants to put in to the government, as far as I'm concerned it's a win win situation for us.
Guy: Really? Putting in a month of Saturdays is a good thing? How do you arrive at that conclusion?
Jill: Sure. if the company gets the contract, that'll be a big boost for it and that can only help improve the value of our stock options and possibly lead to raises and the like over the next year.
Guy: And if we fall short and dont get the contract, then we worked for weekends for nothing ?
Jill: Oh...Come on! We're getting overtime at double time pay, so worst case scenario we've got a good chunk of extra money in our paychecks at the end of the month.
Guy: I guess that's the right way to look at it.
